Peri Peri Chicken Burgers
Low-calorie, high-protein peri peri chicken burgers featuring juicy chicken thighs marinated in Nando's-style marinade, pan-cooked until golden, and layered in a toasted brioche bun with lettuce, tomato, pickled onions and a spicy peri mayo. An easy and satisfying burger for weight loss.
Ingredients

- 2 whole brioche buns (toasted)
- 40 g lettuce (leaves)
- 1 medium tomato (sliced)
- 2 slices light cheese slice (melted)
- 30 g pickled onions
chicken
- 300 g chicken thighs (boneless)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 0.5 tsp cumin
- 0.5 tsp onion powder
- 0.5 tsp salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp Nando's peri peri marinade
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp light butter
sauce
- 2 tbsp light mayonnaise
- 1 tsp sriracha
Steps

1Season chicken thighs with garlic powder, paprika, cumin, onion powder, salt, pepper, Nando's marinade and lemon juice. Mix well.~5 min

2Add light butter to a pan and cook the chicken for 5 minutes on each side until golden brown and juicy.~10 min

3Make the peri mayo by mixing light mayo, sriracha, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt and pepper until smooth.~2 min

4Toast the brioche bun, spread peri mayo on the base, then layer lettuce, two tomato slices, a piece of chicken, melted light cheese, a second piece of chicken and pickled onions. Serve and enjoy.
