Creamy Peri Peri Chicken Pasta
A creamy, high-protein peri peri chicken pasta with bold spice under 500 calories. Sliced chicken breast is seasoned and pan-fried, then combined with a creamy peri peri sauce made with tomato paste, low-fat milk, cream cheese and pasta water. Perfect for meal prep.
Ingredients
chicken
- 300 g chicken breast (sliced)
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 0.5 tsp chili flakes
- 1 tsp salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
garnish
- 1 handful fresh parsley (chopped)
pasta
- 150 g pasta (cooked)
sauce
- 1 medium onion (chopped)
- 1 medium bell pepper (chopped)
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 100 ml low-fat milk
- 50 g light cream cheese
- 2 tbsp peri peri sauce
- 50 ml pasta water
Steps

1Slice chicken breast and season with oregano, paprika, garlic powder, chili flakes, salt, pepper and olive oil. Mix until the color changes.~5 min

2Cook the chicken on medium heat until golden brown, then set aside.~8 min

3In the same pan add chopped onion and bell pepper. Cook for a minute, then add tomato paste, low-fat milk, light cream cheese, pasta water and peri peri sauce. Mix until thick and creamy.~5 min

4Return the chicken to the pan, add extra seasoning and fresh parsley, then fold in the cooked pasta. Give a final mix, garnish and serve.~3 min
