High Protein Salmon Bowl

A healthy high-protein salmon bowl perfect as a post-workout meal. Cubed salmon is seasoned with garlic powder, chili flakes, paprika, soy sauce, honey, and lemon juice, then pan-cooked until golden. Served over jasmine rice with a quick cucumber salad, avocado, carrot, onion, spicy lemon mayo, green onion, and sesame seeds.

  • 300 g salmon (cubed)
  • 200 g jasmine rice (cooked)
  • 1 whole carrot (sliced)
  • 0.5 whole onion (sliced)
  • 0.5 whole avocado (sliced)
  • 2 tbsp spicy lemon mayo
  • 2 stalks green onion (sliced) optional
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds optional
cucumber salad
  • 1 whole cucumber (sliced)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 0.25 tsp red chili flakes
  • 0.25 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
salmon marinade
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp red chili flakes
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)

    Cut salmon into cubes and season with garlic powder, red chili flakes, paprika, soy sauce, honey, and a squeeze of lemon juice. Mix until each piece is well coated.

    In a separate bowl, combine sliced cucumber with soy sauce, garlic, red chili flakes, paprika, and rice vinegar. Mix well.

    Get a pan on medium heat and cook the salmon for 3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
