  • 4 oz coconut water (preferably from a green coconut)
  • for garnish nutmeg (freshly grated) optional

Steps

  1. 1
Add all of the ingredients — gin, sweetened condensed milk, and coconut water — to a shaker.
Tip: When measuring the sticky condensed milk, use the wet (jigger) side of your measuring device for a cleaner pour.

  2. 2
Fill the shaker to the brim with ice, seal it, and shake hard for a good 8-10 seconds so everything fully incorporates.

  3. 3

Cultural Context
Sky Juice is a traditional cocktail from the Bahamas, where it is a beloved island staple often sold by street vendors. Sweetened condensed milk appears in a number of Caribbean cocktails, lending them a creamy richness. While many assume the drink is made with rum, the classic Bahamian version is built on gin, with coconut water and condensed milk for a light, refreshing finish. A dusting of grated nutmeg on top is the signature garnish.
