High Protein Crispy Orange Chicken
Golden crispy chicken coated in a vibrant orange sauce made with fresh orange juice, soy sauce, honey, and orange zest, thickened with cornstarch. A healthier high-protein twist on the classic Chinese takeout dish that is great for meal prep.

- 0.5 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp corn flour
- 0.5 tsp baking powder
garnish
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 2 stalks green onion (chopped)
sauce
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp fresh ginger (grated)
- 0.5 tsp red chili flakes optional
- 120 ml fresh orange juice (freshly squeezed)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp orange zest
- 1 tsp cornstarch (mixed with water)
Steps

1Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, corn flour, and baking powder. Mix well until combined.~5 min

2Cook the chicken on high heat for 3 minutes on each side until golden and crispy. Set aside.~6 min

3In the same pan, add garlic, ginger, and chili flakes. Cook for a minute.~1 min
