High Protein Lasagna
A healthy high-protein lasagna with a rich beef bolognese, creamy blended bechamel made from low-fat cottage cheese and cream cheese, layered with lasagna sheets and finished with light mozzarella. Low calorie, great for meal prep, and incredibly satisfying.
Ingredients

- 200 g lasagna sheets
- 70 g light mozzarella

- 200 g low-fat cottage cheese
- 100 g low-fat cream cheese
- 30 g parmesan (grated)
- 100 ml low-fat milk
- 1 tsp Italian herbs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
bolognese
- 1 whole onion (chopped)
- 1 medium carrot (chopped)
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 500 g lean ground beef
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 200 ml beef stock
- 400 g canned chopped tomatoes
- 1 handful fresh basil
Steps

1In a blender, add low-fat cottage cheese, low-fat cream cheese, grated parmesan, low-fat milk, Italian herbs, and garlic powder. Blend until completely smooth and creamy.~3 min

2Get a pan on medium heat, add chopped onions and carrot with salt, pepper, and tomato paste. Cook for 5 minutes.~5 min

3Add lean ground beef with smoked paprika. Break it up and cook for another 5 minutes.~5 min

4Add beef stock, canned chopped tomatoes, garlic powder, Italian herbs, and salt. Mix well, add fresh basil, then cover and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes.~10 min

5Add a layer of the meat sauce followed by lasagna sheets and the bechamel sauce. Repeat this process two more times.~5 min

6Finish off with 70g of light mozzarella then bake in the oven for 30 minutes. Serve and enjoy.~30 min
