  • 500 g lean beef (thinly sliced)
  • 2 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp cornflour
sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic (chopped)
  • 3 stalks green onion (chopped)
  • 1 medium red onion (sliced)
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 100 ml water
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch (mixed with water)

    Slice beef into thin strips. Add light soy sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, baking soda, olive oil, and cornflour. Mix and marinate.
    Tip: Baking soda velvets the beef, making it extra tender.

    Cook on high heat for 3 minutes on each side until golden and crispy. Set the beef aside.

    In the same pan, add chopped garlic, green onion, and red onion. Cook until fragrant.

    Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and water. Bring to a light bubble.

    Add cornstarch mixture and let the sauce thicken.

    Add the beef back in with green onion and cooked noodles. Garnish with chili flakes and sesame seeds.
